Grant Program To Hep Provide Financial Assistance For Caring For A Family Member
If you are looking for financial assistance to help with the care of a family member then here is a grant program that you might be interested in learning more about.
This grant program is for Hospice Patients & Families.
There is an organization that has a fund that helps provides financial assistance for terminally ill individuals and their families who are experiencing financial distress and unable to be self-sufficient due to the circumstances of their terminal diagnosis.
This organization will consider grant requests for patient and family assistance from any person that has a terminal diagnosis regardless of care-provider. In order to adhere to IRS guidelines for charitable giving, the organization must collect financial information from the patient and/or the family member applying for grant assistance. This information is then used to determine the level of financial need of the applicant.
Grants are made when the individual is considered “needy and distressed” as defined by the IRS.
For more information a detailed explanation of the grant guidelines can be downloaded online for free from the organization's website.

Grant Program To Help Pay Your Hospital Bill!
Do you need help with paying your hospital bill?
Last year one organization provided over $75,000 in grants for more than 100 individual applicants! The grant program was put in place to help eligible patients pay their hospital bills. So far this year, the organization has paid over $20,000 in grants that benefited 57 patients!
However the number of applicants has been far exceeding the amount of money that the organization can give.
This particular grant program is funded by a trust fund's will. The terms of the will stipulated that the interest from the trust be used "to help pay for operations and hospital attendance for poor and needy persons at the organization's namesake hospital.
There's now a formal application process and income guidelines to determine who is eligible to be considered for a grant.

Grant Program For Breast Cancer Research!
Here is a government grant program that is open to ALL apply! This means that this grant program has an unrestricted eligibility requirement - however it is subject to any clarification in the field entitled "Additional Information on Eligibility"
This grant program was started to promote new ideas that are still in the early stages of development and have the potential to yield highly impactful data and new avenues of investigation. This grant awards program supports conceptually innovative, high-risk/high-reward research that could ultimately lead to critical discoveries or major advancements that will accelerate the eradication of breast cancer.
Research projects should include a well-formulated, testable hypothesis based on strong scientific rationale. The grant program seeks applications from all areas of basic, translational, clinical, behavioral, and epidemiological research. Innovation and Impact are the most important aspects of this grant program. Here is a more specific explanation:
- Innovation - Research deemed innovative may introduce a new paradigm, challenge current paradigms, look at existing problems from new perspectives, or exhibit other uniquely creative qualities.
- Impact - Research that has high potential impact may significantly accelerate the eradication of breast cancer. It is the responsibility of the applicant to clearly and explicitly articulate the project’s innovation and its potential impact on breast cancer.
The sponsors of this grant award encourages applications that include meaningful and productive collaborations between two primary entities but please note that each of the co-entities will have different submission requirements. However, both should contribute to the preparation of a single application. The collaborative partners may have expertise in similar or disparate scientific disciplines but are expected to bring different strengths to the application. New collaborations are encouraged, but not required. The program is designed to support collaborations on completely new research ideas; therefore, merely continuing an existing or previous collaborative research project between the two partners is not considered innovative and does not meet the intent of this grant program.
It is the responsibility of the partners to describe how their combined expertise in the collaboration will better address the research question and explain why the work should be done together rather than through separate efforts.
Over 50 grants will be awarded from this grant program and the total amount of funding dollars for this grant program is over $40 Million Dollars!

Financial Assistance For Diabetics!
Here is a quote from an article appearing on Live-PR.com:
The Federal Government has billions of dollars in free aid and assistance available for diabetics and diabetic small businesses. Many of these grants, loans and other sources of aid are seldom awarded because eligible diabetics and diabetic businesses do not know about them, do not have internet access or knowledge of existing programs.
For instance, did you know that there are financial grant programs out there for diabetics who are handicapped, sixty-two to sixty-five or older that can provide assistance with necessary home repairs such as roofing and both inside and outside home repairs?
One of the staff members of these programs has said:
"There are billions of dollars in assistance and grants earmarked for people previously identified as credit risks. Public and private funds are now available for them to repair homes, start a business, consolidate debts and any worthwhile purpose." . In addition there are also several reduced-cost and free programs that already exist now to help diabetics and the economically disadvantaged who have been diagnosed with diabetes. Such programs include energy assistance, free prescriptions, home repair and legal aid.
The programs also includes job training, financial assistance, phone bill assistance, diabetic recipes, free grants and scholarship information.
For additional information on these programs you can contact the program director or you can visit the organization's website. The organization can also be contacted via their offices, telephone, email and website.
