There is a restriction on the location but if you are a resident or are a resident in a nearby county then you may be eligible to apply for this grant program.
The organization that sponsors this grant program provides financial support to committed, gifted individual artists and small, unincorporated groups of collaborating artists.
The grant is awarded to projects that promise to advance the career of the artist or groups of artists in the following disciplines:
- Music Composition
- Film/Video
- Literature/Playwriting
- Choreography/Dance
- Visual Art/Craft

According to a spokesperson for this grant program, "There are not many opportunities for artists to obtain assistance for something that relates directly to their career advancement. We urge artists in the region to look at the guidelines to see if there is an opportunity here for them."
