Grant Program For Artists!

Tri-State residents will soon be treated to a visual delight featuring some of the most talented and diverse artists in the local arts community.

Eleven artists will have a unique opportunity to exhibit their work in an Exhibition.

"Over the past three years these financial grants have been awarded to very unique and talented artists. "The exhibition gives artists a chance to display the work they’ve created with the assistance of the grant, and a great opportunity for the community to see some of the best artists in our area."

The grant program, which is designed to provide funds directly to artists, was one of the first programs of its kind. Grant recipients can use the money they are awarded however they choose, from purchasing supplies, covering exhibition expenses and renting studio space to anything else that will allow them to devote more time to their art.

This grant program started in 1983 and has awarded grants to approximately 84 artists.

Some distinguished  alumni include  a ceramics artist, a printmaker and a sculptor.

Individuals can learn more about this grant program by visiting the organization’s website at here or by sending an email.

This grant program has been supporting and promoting artists and the arts for more than 43 years. The organization’s activities include: support for individual artists including grants and exhibitions, community-based art activities and events, and a nationally-recognized annual fine arts festival.
